When the guys over at Palletforce got in touch asking how they could add a bit of speed to the grand opening and driver of the year awards at their new 620,000 sq ft ‘SUPERhub’… we knew just what to do.

 

 

Donning its new temporary orange livery and makeover specially for the event, the Blue Spot Computers F1 simulator took poll position in the main entrance for everyone to see and try their hand at driving something a little quicker than the HGV’s they’re used to day in day out!

As one of the fastest growing pallet distribution networks in the UK, Palletforce have invested a whopping £50m into their new SUPERhub and it has been an absolute pleasure to put our slicks on the ground, putting their nominees for driver of the year and members of their sales conference through their paces around the infamous Silverstone circuit.

 

 

After a gruelling week of custom fabrication for the new brake and accelerator pedal installation in the F1 simulator, along with a lot of custom programming, we are excited to say we now also have fully force feedback enabled pedals – they went down a treat, surpassing even the hardest of scrutineering!
